Dr. Cornel West is a prominent and provocative democratic intellectual. He is Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard University and holds the title of Professor Emeritus at Princeton University. He has also taught at Union Theological Seminary, Yale, Harvard, and the University of Paris. He is the author of 20 books. Dr. West is a philosopher, political activist, social critic, author, and public intellectual.
Dr. West focuses on the role of race, gender, and class in American society and the means by which people act and react to their “radical conditionedness.” Dr. West’s books will be available at this event.
